General News
Monday brought much rain and
A rather impressive storm, which caused
This naughty boat to end up on our beach, however, between rain showers I managed to go out for a walk passing and being inspired by our
Local “Model Village”. A highlight being this delightful
Castle. Taking advantage of our location, I snapped these two inspiring photos our Earth’s “Blue Moon” late one evening which,
Sadly won’t been seen again for a while,
However prompts me to be continually inspired by our planet.
Audio Book News
Currently about half way though, “A Spy Among Friends" written by Ben Macintyre, which, so far, I can recommended as I find it comprehensively expands on the television programme recently shown in The UK with lots of useful background information.

General News
Always enjoyable to coffee,
Catch up with friends, and be inspired by
nature at “Coffee Cup”.
Baldi's Trip to The Isle Of Wight
Arriving at Portsmouth Harbour, I walked past the famous
“HMS Warrior”
On my way to “The Isle of Wight”. With inches to spare we managed to miss
colliding with a local ferry on exiting the tightly packed harbour and took in the sights
Of “The Spinnaker Tower”, “Gunwarf Keys” and a parked car ferry.
Just before the harbour meets “The Solent”, one of the busiest waterways in the world, I spotted our countries
International Sailing Centre of excellence and a
fort from the time of Henry VIII, before
leaving our harbour behind.
On route to Ryde, we passed a
Hovercraft travelling in the opposite direction.
I always find inspiration when
arriving in Ryde, Isle of Wight, as I find it is so beautiful.
Walking the
entire length of “Ryde Pier” takes longer than one thinks, especially when constantly stopping to be inspired by the magnificent views and what used to be
A modernised London Underground Tube Train which runs between the ferry and bus terminal.
Walking up “Ryde Hill”, we passed
“Koko’s Bear Shop”, unfortunately, it was closed this particular day, which we found a shame as we’d have loved to have looked around. Thankfully, not only this wonderful bear, but also this
brightly coloured Creature sat in their window brought a smile to our faces.
After enjoying a feast in
ADA Mediterranean Kitchen in Ryde High Street, we spotted some
water for dogs, which I though a great idea to entice people into shops.
We enjoyed a
Walk along the shore, taking in even more ships and Forts from ancient times, leading to our discovery
of a lovey stretch of beach where we were inspired by a game of
“Beach Volley Ball”.
On our return walk we passed
a rare old “VW”, which still looked inspirational and some
beautiful wildlife.
Unfortunately,
this inspiring and welcoming Castle also was closed, having just enough time to stop at this
inspirationale Lake to bask in it’s evening beauty, before returning along the costal path to "Ryde Pier" via an
inspirational beach and
interesting statue, which we found so unexpected, however totally welcomed along with this
inspirational rainbow, before walking back along
"Ryde Pier" on my our home, in all achieveing
20,551 steps in one day which is approaching my epic 23,043 steps set earlier this month. I have set a new daily target of 24,000 steps, which I’m aiming to achieve soon, leaving me to ask what have you achieved this week to inspire yourself, your family and others and what have you planned for your coming week? Do message me.
From 14 to 20 August
Garden News
First home grown
tomatoes arrived this week in abundance with
many more arriving soon!, asking the question, are you a Tomato fan?
As for Roses, this beautiful
example is just one of many living in our garden, unfortunately, the bad weather has shortened their life span this year.
Figure Skating News
Enjoying preparing for my Level 2 Skills Test and loving spending time with my Rink Family.
Reading News
My love of history had led me to read
“Secret Cities of Old South America”, written by Harold T. Wilkins. So far, so enjoyable. Personally, I love delving into our past as I find it fascinating, don’t you? However am saddened by the news so much has gone missing from “The British Museum” of which I am a member.
Audio Book News
Completed “Into The Bermuda Triangle” written by Gian J. Quasar, which presents objective evidence in an understandable byte sized manner. I found his audio book highly approachable and recommend it to all of you who are interested in delving more deeply into one of our planets greatest mysteries.

power boat trip with a family friend, passing a beautiful
beach, and,

Our local pier before,
heading back to port, leaving me to ask,
what are you plans to inspire yourself, your families and others next week?
